Project To Provide Guidance Regarding Regulatory Compliance Costs and the Impact on Smaller Airports

In developing the Guidebook for Regulatory Compliance Costs and the Impact on Smaller Airports, the team will identify and quantify the cumulative effects of regulatory requirements on small and non-hub primary airports with scheduled service and estimate associated potential compliance costs. GS&P's Haney and Fiffick Present to Water and Wastewater Professionals Regarding Suggested Approach to Achieve Net Neutral Energy Consumption at WWTPs

Dallas, TX - May 25, 2011 - Chris Haney, P.E., GS&P senior vice president Water Services, and Laura Fiffick, P.G., senior sustainability programs manager, served as presenters at a recent North Texas Subcommittee of the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) Seminar. Their presentation was entitled, "Assessing The Need For Alternative Energy And Implementing The Need Through An Energy Management Plan." The half-day seminar was attended by more than 50 local utilities, performance contractors, technology providers and consultants. Presentations covered topics ranging from alternative energy, hydropower and energy recovery, combined heat and power, solar, co-digestion with high strength wastes, and performance-based contracting at water and wastewater plants.
