ATLANTA - January 23, 2012 - Gresham, Smith and Partners, a leading multi-disciplinary design and consulting firm for the built environment, is pleased to announce the Cobb County Transportation Management Center (TMC) in Marietta, Georgia, has earned LEED Silver Certification from the US Green Building Council. Designed by GS&P, the 25,000-square-foot facility addition houses the operations responsible for managing Cobb County's Advanced Transportation Management System (ATMS). Their article, titled "Metro’s Harrington WTP Back on Line in 30 Days," tells the compelling story of Nashville's K.R. Harrington Water Treatment Plant, the city's primary water treatment facility, and the damage it sustained during the historic May 2010 flood.
