Award-winning affordable housing. The Laurel House Apartments is a mixed-use development located in the Gulch, a redevelopment district. The development includes 48 affordable housing rental units, retail and office space in close proximity to downtown. The design intent was to blend two structures—an existing 1930s building and new construction above—in a way that enhances the vision for the district. Since opening, the residential portions of the building have remained fully occupied.
