The Louisville Regional Airport Authority hired GS&P to plan and implement a new in-line baggage screening and outbound handling system that fits the TSA's standards. In an effort to balance the loads in the new outbound baggage additions, four airlines were relocated in the East and West ticketing halls. Two new outbound baggage systems were added behind ticketing, with screening rooms behind them. As the project progressed, the airport authority and the TSA commissioned GS&P to add a second floor over part of the western hall to provide for the TSA's local office.
