Supporting a theme with environmental graphics. Surrounded by the Rocky Mountain foothills, this eight-story, 498,000-square-foot hospital offers progressive healthcare in a resort-like environment. Reminiscent of a classic ski resort, the hospital provides a lodge ambience, promoting warmth, luxury and comfort. To accentuate this architectural design theme, GS&P carefully coordinated and integrated natural materials such as Colorado stone, limestone, marble, copper and verdis green finishes, and wood panels into both the interior and exterior graphics. These elegant, complementary materials reflect the design of the facility and its context and enhance the wayfinding experience.
