Vanderbilt University Medical Center - One Hundred Oaks Mall
Nashville, Tennessee

A new look and purpose. The One Hundred Oaks Mall redevelopment is now a newly renovated extension of Vanderbilt University's Medical Center (VUMC) - VanderbiltHealth Complex. VUMC called on GS&P to transform 100 Oaks, a mall constructed in the early 1960s, into a two-story, mixed-use development with various medical clinics as well as retail and restaurant uses.

Designers were able to utilize an existing building in a strategically located, but underutilized area, to offer a more sustainable approach to development and enhance the economic vitality of the area. The 880,000-square-foot project includes 300,000-square-feet of leased space dedicated to VUMCs clinical and administrative support operations with an additional 90,000-square-feet of shelled space for future expansion and 50,000-square-feet of space for sub-lease in an adjacent office tower. The project is designed according to LEED standards and certified LEED CI.
