Providence, RI
In addition to T. F. Green Airport, RIAC is responsible for five general aviation airports throughout the state. In all, the system they oversee contributes more than 23,000 jobs and $2 billion to the local region. Besides the enormous economic benefit the airports provide, they strive to be good environmental stewards as well. For the past several years, RIAC has enlisted the help of GS&P for a significant portion of their environmental services. GS&P has been instrumental in providing environmental training to RIAC personnel, deicer and stormwater management strategies, including SWPPP, SPCC and drainage master plans, and assisting RIAC with negotiating and complying with their RIPDES permit.
