A new name and new facility equal a fresh face for the future. Wachovia Bank's new Regional Training Center involved the renovation of existing offices and workstations in their Wildwood II office building (formerly SouthTrust). Challenged to renovate 19,000 square feet of existing office space and create an informal and energetic environment, GS&P's design is dynamic with the use of forms, both curved and straight, and the use of color to further enhance the energy. Curved walls with translucent openings and a grid paint design give visitors a glimpse of the unexpected as they pass through the reception area.  The space contains 15 new classrooms, touchdown spaces (training on demand) and various breakout areas.
