There's no place like home. To go with Watkin's new site and facility, GS&P also designed their first (of five) on campus student housing dormitories. The recently completed first building contains 12 apartments for 48 students with an adjacent surface parking lot. Each apartment features a full kitchen, common living area, four private bedrooms, two full baths and laundry room. The building's exterior facade is uniquely designed with an abstract art form of shapes, colors and textures that consist of concrete blocks, corrugated metal and fiber cement panels. The master plan will have a different tonal color palette for each of the five dorms.
