Helping a client invest in themselves. Health Care REIT is an Ohio-based real estate investment trust with holdings that span the full spectrum of senior housing and healthcare property types. In 2008, the company purchased an office building to serve as the new home for their operations and development group. GS&P was hired to provide architecture, interior design and planning services in order to evaluate the existing facility and find ways to modify it to better suit the client's operational needs. This meant not only understanding the physical characteristics of the facility, but also gaining in-depth knowledge of the client's style of doing business. Ultimately, the interior was demolished and completely redesigned to allow for a workplace that provided a more transparent, collaborative office environment. Aesthetically, the redesign also took advantage of the building's unique architectural features.
