Sustainable gateway to university campus. GS&P provided preliminary conceptual design of a 50,000-square-foot speculative office building being developed by the City of Auburn for Auburn University's campus. The building will include three floors with the two lower floors scheduled to be general office space and the upper floor as small research labs.
The research park, encompassing three lakes, meadows, forested areas and a wetland preserve on the university campus, will serve as the gateway to the campus. The park, a sustainable development planned for LEED Silver certification, is designed to balance development against protecting the natural environment.
